Share your #OnlyAtGW moments with us! The digital content team welcomes pitches for social media content about students, alumni, faculty, or our GW community. Please ensure your content is submitted 5 business days in advance of your requested post date to ensure proper consideration and content strategy.
What content should I submit?
As content experts in your schools or units, you have unique access to the daily stories happening in your respective communities. If you think these stories speak to our GW experience or community, share them with us!
Example: Two SMPA professors are widely known for loving to argue with each other. Students began coming to classes they were not registered for just to hear the arguments. Those two professors have now started their own podcast at the encouragement of the students.
Where will you post my content?
Our team is responsible for posting to the main GW Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts.
After reviewing your pitch, our team will determine the best platform for your content and reach out if we have any questions or imagery needs.
What if my content is not posted?
All content is posted at the discretion of the digital content team. As curators of the main channels we have to be cognizant of our audience, content, and voice of the university. If you have any questions about your pitch please reach out to [email protected].
